Essential "No Makeup" Make Up

It's the third day into fall semester and I'm already overwhelmed. At the rate my classes are going, I'll be speaking Spanish and writing news reports like a pro in no time. (I'm crossing my fingers for both of those).  I'll also probably be even more into yoga than I was before.

Cause, you know, I'm taking yoga as one of my classes. It's awesome.

The "no make up" look has been really popular and I know I was doing it for a good two weeks straight over the summer. Because of that, I think I've perfected my method of creating the look. So my essentials are ready to share with you all because I know that, come two weeks from now, we will all be wearing this look to class because--college.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
I personally don't use primers because I like to use as little as possible on my face. (No one likes break outs). I just make sure to put a moisturizer on right after I wash my face.

Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup
Basically, I've never been a fan of foundation. I know, I know--I just never found one that didn't look or feel too cake-y. Not anymore! I love, love this foundation. (Thank you woman who was giving out 10-day samples). It gives moderate coverage and is super light. I only apply a thin layer and use my finger tips because the woman at the counter told me I had to warm it up or something? I don't know, I just do as I'm told.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
For the longest time this was my foundation. Now that I use a liquid foundation, I still lightly apply this all over (especially on shine-prone areas) to set everything.

Anastasia Brow Wiz
Filling in your brows makes such a difference. I'm not talking full on let-me-draw-on-my-eyebrows, just lightly fill them in and brush them out. Trust me on this one.

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
I'm still love this mascara as much as I did when I wrote about it in this post. It works wonders. Be careful not to put too much on when you are going for this look, though. It is extremely easy to over-apply this product (think mascara all over your eyelids).

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment
Not only does this work, but it smells like lemons and has SPF 15. Wins all around. For a true "no makeup" look, this is perfect. But if you want to dress up the look, a bright red lip would look amazing! If you're like me, and afraid of color, you can even get this lip treatment in the tinted version for a more subtle look.
