T-Swift & 1989

Okay so I'm normally not a super huge Taylor Swift fan (don't hate me) but if you saw my post on Twitter, then you know I've been converted.

1989 is fantastic. It makes me want to sing, dance, and have a bonfire with all of my friends. (So if anyone can provide a beach and bonfire for me, I would appreciate it).

My favorite song is definitely Blank Space. I heard it on the radio the day the album dropped and let me tell you, that was the best traffic filled drive back to my apartment.

(It takes forever and I literally live across the street).

My other top choice is obviously still Shake It Off, especially since I we played it all day every day in the office for that past month.

I've gotten to the point where I really like her new style (music and clothing). I think the only reason I didn't like her change to pop in the beginning was because people were still trying to call her country.

Some songs are still a little too over produced and repetitive for me--I can't stand Out of the Woods and I'm not even sorry--but 1989 is definitely good.

  1. I can't stop listening to her album either. "Style" is my current favorite, but that's probably going to change soon. LOL. I completely agree with you about Shake It Off. It is freakishly catchy.

  2. That one is really good, too! And it's SO catchy. I went from wanting nothing to do with it to singing it all the time.
