It's Monday! I'm starting this new thing where I actually get excited for Monday's (I'll let you know how it goes). I spent the weekend at home for my birthday. It was a little too short, but definitely a well deserved break. I made sure I had no homework to work on while I was there, and I think I only turned on my laptop twice (once was to set up my new fitbit!). 

How was your weekend?!



Besides just hanging out with my family and boyfriend, I also got some quality pictures with my cat (she hates everyone) and got to meet my friend's new little nugget! His name is Henry, he's a mini pomeranian and he looks like a baby bear. 


I just want a puppy, but my floor at my apartment complex isn't pet friendly! Struggles.


THIS WEEK'S GOALS:


1. Get back to the gym. I need to go at least three days! My schedule has finally calmed down (work-wise) and I've adjusted to my classes, so it's time to get back at it.

2. Re-set my sleep schedule. I'm still awake super late (despite being exhausted) and it's taking a lot of coffee to get me to my morning class.

3. Drink green tea every morning. I was doing good with this, until I went back to pumping my veins with coffee. *see #2

4. Read a book for fun. I don't have anything in mind yet, but I'd like to spend my weekend on my balcony with a book that has nothing to do with my classes. That just sounds fantastic.

  3. Can relate to the late sleep schedule! I'm trying to gradually get to bed before midnight to try and get myself back on track. Good luck this week!

  5. Someone told me that midnight was a good start! Something about melatonin levels being the highest between 10-12?

    Hi Marina! I am absolutely loving your posts! I seriously need to fix my sleep schedule too. Its all kinds of wack right now...
    It's awesome that you live in FL. My aunt lives there, and I've been a few times. It's absolutely gorgeous! Just out of curiosity though, what makes you want to move to NYC or Cali when you graduate?

  7. Hi! Thank you! I've been to both places and I'm absolutely in love with them. I also need a change from Florida, I've been here way too long. They're also the ideal places to live in for the careers I'm interested in.
