My boyfriend came to Tampa over the weekend for Valentine's Day and I'm pretty sure we circled the city at least twice. It seems like everything we always want to do is in opposite directions and we end up making multiple trips.

Heart doughnuts, handmade gifts, and lots of iced coffee basically sum it up.

Oh, and geocaching--which is basically where you get gps coordinates that lead you to where something extremely difficult to find is hidden (this involved me walking to the top of an eight story parking garage and vowing to never do it again).

1. Buy an interesting cookbook--because I really need to start cooking actual meals. I found an interesting one the other day at Urban Outfitters, but I didn't have time to look through the recipes. I need one that isn't too complicated, but I want a fun one.

2. Schedule work meetings. I feel like I've been a little bit all over the place with work this semester, and I need to get on that.

3. Start some design projects. I want to try to get some sort of a portfolio going, plus its fun!

1. Don't get sick. Well I haven't gotten sick...yet.

2. Catch up on assignments. As of last night, I took my advertising midterm and was officially no longer overwhelmed with homework. Score.

  1. Big Girls Small Kitchen is a really nice cookbook. There's also a free cookbook pdf online called: Good and Cheap by Leanne Brown where each meal is $4.

  2. I adore geocashing but always forget to carve out time and go. Good luck with your goals this week!

  3. Good luck finding a good cookbook! Whenever I find one that I like the recipes tend to be a little too complicated. It's not that I can't do that, I just don't want to take the time! :) Good luck with all of your goals this week.

  4. That doughnut looks amazing! Geocaching is one of my favorite things. We also have something called free art fridays here in Atlanta, where you find things based on clues left by the artist. It's really fun. As for the cookbook, I enjoy the Chicago Diner Cookbook. It's really good.

  5. I have the same problem! Someone needs to create a simple cookbook for people we don't have time and don't want a lot of dishes to clean. Thanks!

  6. That sounds really interesting! And I'll have to check out that book!
