Lush Favorites

Lush is one of those stores where all self-control goes completely out the window and I just want to buy everything. Granted, being obsessed with natural beauty and bath problems isn't exactly a bad thing, but it can get expensive very quickly.

My favorite thing about Lush, though, is that they'll let you sample pretty much anything. You can try some of the products in-store or ask for little sample sizes to take home. (Which reminds me, I have a hair treatment to try!)

I wouldn't say I'm anywhere near being an expert on all of their products, I haven't tried too many in comparison to the large amount of products they have, but I definitely have a few favorites (and not-so-favorites)!

THE BEST:

1. Ocean Salt
This smells so good! It's a face and body scrub, but I mainly use it on my face just so it'll last longer. It smells like lime, salt, and the beach. I had to get used to it in the beginning, because my skin is a little oily--but everything goes well if I use my Philosophy face wash at night and then this in the morning.

2. D'Fluff
I was a little worried that I would go through this shaving cream super fast but you don't need to use a lot of it. You'll smell like strawberry fluff and have the softest legs ever.

3. Seanik
Shampoo bars are really cool, okay. I underestimated them. This smells beach too and gives your hair some texture.

4. Catastrophe Cosmetic
Their fresh face masks are all so good, but it really depends on your skin type. This one has blueberries and calamine and it's good for soothing irritation and cleansing the skin.

5. Big Solid Conditioner
I don't 100% love this one because it doesn't help with detangling my hair. However, it works well with the Seanik shampoo to add texture and a beachy feel while keeping your hair hydrated.

Oh and all the bath bombs. All of them.

NOT THE BEST:

1. Charity Pot
I feel a little bit guilty about saying this is bad because the proceeds from it go to charity, but I thought it smelled terrible! It's moisturizes really well, though, and I think they've changed the formula so I would still say try it out!

2. Jasmine & Henna Fluff Eaze
This hair treatment was supposed to help with frizz, but I didn't notice a difference. It has a weird smell to it too--and your hair will smell like to for days. Washing it will not help.

  1. A friend of mine is obsessed with the Ocean Salt! I've actually never bought anything from Lush before. I went in there once, but the smell was so strong that I had to leave! I've heard good things about their Ro's Argan Body Conditioner, though, so I think if I were to get one thing it would be that.

  3. Ocean Salt is definitely my favorite product. If I could only have one thing, that would be it! I was in the store over the weekend and I saw the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. You should try it!
