Current Must-Have Face Products

face products

My face has been extremely upset with me since arriving in New York.

Maybe it's that I'm not used to the air quality, maybe it's stress, maybe it's my uncanny ability to never stop touching my face. (It's probably the last one).

My skin is still not happy with me, but I've been using four products recently to hopefully fix my problems.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser
A warming gel cleanser that removes make up, deeply cleanses, and detoxifies. It doesn't leave my face feeling oily and it's definitely helping with some of the clogged pores and breakouts I'm dealing with.

Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel
A miracle salicylic acid spot treatment.

Philosophy 'Take A Deep Breath' Energizing Oxygen Gel Cream Moisturizer
This is one of my favorite moisturizers. It's really thick and nourishing, but works well with normal / oily skin because it's still lightweight. It's supposed to "detoxify skin, support cell respiration and restore a healthy glow" and it "protects skin against environmental attack." Whether or not it actually protects my skin from further pollution, I don't know--but in my mind it helps.

Lush Fresh Face Mask "Brazened Honey"
Because I always love an excuse to get something from Lush (I'm slightly obsessed), I picked this up the day after I got here. It has clay to draw out any impurities and is supposed to brighten your face. It also smells super good, but that's no surprise.

If you have any recommendations, leave them in the comments!

  1. I love all lush products! definitely gonna have to try that face mask!

  2. Let me know how you like it! I think catastrophe cosmetic is still my favorite out of the one's I've tried.

I have the same problem with always touching my face & am trying so hard to stop! I picked up that face mask the other day too & I love it! I also highly recommend Mario Badescu products, I use a cleanser & toner from them that work really well!

    Crumbs & Curls

  4. I'll have to try those out, thanks!
