June Goals & Updates

june goals

It's been a while since I wrote a post about goals since the Weekly Wishes link-up ended. I wanted to keep it going, but make it monthly rather than weekly. It's kind of nice to sit down and type up some goals and updates as if I was sitting with someone and having coffee. (Ugh, I need some coffee).

Anyway, right now is also the perfect opportunity for an announcement: I've been offered and internship for the summer in New York! I'll be leaving at some unreasonable hour tonight to begin the 17 hour drive to my aunt's house in Jersey.

So if anyone has any recommendations of things to do/places to go (especially coffee shops)--I'm going to need that list ASAP.

June Goals:

1. Successfully be able to get to and from my internship. This is a legitimate goal and equally as a legitimate fear.

2. Create and editorial calendar and blog ahead of time. I'm determined to not let my internship get in the way of blogging, but I also want to make sure I have posts written in advance (for the most part).

3. Continue to read for fun. I haven't been doing much of it, but I've bought a new book and have like six others to read.

4. Work on improving my blog and social media. I've just recently joined two other blogging networks, and have plans to step up my Instagram and Twitter game.

5. Start a photography project. I'll be in New York after all--plus I'm taking a photography class next semester and need to brush up on some things.

  1. Wishing you the best of luck with your internship! I hope you'll be able to get to and fro without too much hassle/fear. One of my goals for June is to also stay on top of my blogging game. Right now, I have two weeks of content, but I want to be able to have six weeks of content ready to go. I may be aiming high, but aren't we supposed to aim for the stars?

  2. Thank you! I'm already impressed with you having two weeks of content, but I definitely think you can get six ready! You'd never have worry about missing a post, that'd be amazing. Lol. Good luck!
