I was definitely a tourist this past weekend. My boyfriend came to see me, so we went to Times Square, did some shopping (I bought these really great shoes that are on sale), and walked around Central Park.
After almost-gracefully making our way down, we walked through the park for a few hours until we made our way to around 88th St. and realized we were starving. (I think I walked a total of 100 blocks that day).
For lunch we stopped at Shake Shack, conveniently after my post about my wish to live off of coffee and cheeseburgers. Neither of us had eaten there before and it was amazing.
Let me tell you, there is a Shake Shack right by my office and that is now SO dangerous. I might eat there everyday. Or at least once a week. Maybe more. Good thing I just got a gym membership.
Like I'm a die-hard cheeseburger fan. You don't understand. I miss In-N-Out so much, and this definitely made me miss it a little less. I'm also a sucker for cheese fries, so...
After being 100% exhausted and taking way too many pictures, we spent the fourth of July with my family. A small barbecue and watching fireworks from the front porch is the way to go.
I am so glad I stumbled on your blog! It is SO CUTE. When I lived in NYC, I was addicted to Shake Shack -- that long line couldn't stop me. Glad you got to spend some time with the fam!

I don't go into the city too much, but whenever I do I always go to the shake shack! It's so good! Is the Hershey store the M&M store or are those two different things? I remember going into the M&M store and being in love! xx, kenz

Thanks! It's just SO good. I've already decided I'm getting it for lunch this week.
ReplyDeleteThe M&M store is actually right across the street, haha. So much chocolate!

I'll be genuinely sad when I go back to Tampa, AKA the land of no Shake Shack. :(
